Perth Solar Warehouse announced on 9 July 2020 that it had joined the Fronius Solutions Partner program in Australia.
This article records that company milestone. It has been revised to distinguish the historical announcement from the Fronius program requirements that apply today.
Program scope
Fronius describes its Australian partner program as a network for businesses that plan, install and maintain photovoltaic systems using Fronius equipment.
The manufacturer identifies training, product and monitoring registrations, use of its support systems and after-sales capability among the program requirements. Criteria are reviewed by Fronius and can change over time.
For an installer, participation can provide access to:
- Fronius technical training and product information
- the Solar.SOS service platform
- manufacturer technical support channels
- Solar.web tools and monitoring information
- current planning, commissioning and maintenance material
A partnership does not displace licensing or consumer law
A manufacturer partnership is one part of supplier assessment. It does not replace the electrical contractor's licensing obligations, applicable standards, network requirements, the retailer's responsibilities to the customer or rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Product registration, warranty terms and service eligibility should be checked against the documentation supplied for the specific equipment and installation.
Current verification
The operating business continues to publish current Fronius information through Perth Solar Warehouse. Customers and project partners should confirm present partner status and product requirements through the manufacturer or the operating business before relying on the 2020 announcement.
