Sigenergy has issued a Product Change Notice confirming that its Sigen Power Sensor range has completed a transition from third-party sourced to Sigenergy-developed hardware. The change carries new part numbers, so it is worth flagging directly for the design and ordering teams.
Current-guidance boundary: This bulletin records Sigenergy Product Change Notice PCN2026012 as issued in July 2026. Current part numbers, firmware, communications modes and paired-device support must be confirmed in Sigenergy's controlled documentation.
Four sensor SKUs move to new -WI part numbers
Four sensor SKUs move to a new part number with a -WI suffix. The previous numbers are being phased out, and Sigenergy's CRM was updated to the new codes on 30 June.

Alongside the new codes, Sigenergy lists two functional upgrades: frequency accuracy improves from 0.5 per cent to 0.2 per cent, and the sensors add WLAN and Bluetooth connectivity.
Drop-in compatible in RS485 mode, restricted in WiFi mode
PSW Energy and Perth Solar Warehouse hold Sigenergy Gold Installer status, so the range is one the group orders and installs directly.
Two points from the notice matter on site:
- Drop-in compatibility in RS485 mode. Sigenergy states the new sensors are fully backward compatible in RS485 mode, so they act as a direct replacement in existing installations with no re-configuration required.
- WiFi mode is restricted. The added WiFi connectivity is supported only with SigenMicro and SigenMate. It is not supported with other devices, so any job relying on the sensor's wireless mode needs one of those two paired.
Ordering should reference the new -WI part numbers, since the older codes are being retired. The full datasheet and technical note are attached to Sigenergy's notice for teams that need the detailed specification.
